Linux Resize Amazon EC2 Linux Partition

By default, EC2 Instance root partitions come sized at 8GB, regardless of the physical disk size.

These steps will resize it to the full disk size.
First try:
sudo resize2fs /dev/xvde

If that fails, try:

df -h

lsblk

xvda 202:64 0 64G 0 disk
??xvda1 202:65 0 8G 0 part /

fdisk /dev/xvda
